I recently received the following via the KMFMS comment form and the sender agreed to let me post it here:

I am new to Linux, and have tried over 12 distributions, and have come to find PCLINUXOS to be the most user-friendly and viable alternative to Windows at this time. Some others come close (Ark, Simply Mepis, Ubuntu) but PCLINUXOS is the clear-cut winner. Coming from Windows (from 3.1-XP) and being far from computer-illiterate, PCLINUXOS was the ONLY Linux distro that I was able to get to work and do everything that Windows does, without learning any code or command line jargon.
