Hi Folks,

I'm moving away from using Microsoft products where possible but kind of reluctant not to use Access for database development until I can find something as feature rich and easy to use.
Any suggestions?

Cheers
John

John,

You might want to give OpenOffice.org Base a try. I haven't used it or Access myself, so I don't know how it stacks up in terms of usability. The OpenOffice.org products which I have used are great, though.

Here are some lists with other possibilities as well:

http://www.osalt.com/access
http://microsoft.toddverbeek.com/db.html

Good luck.

Thanks,

Thanks very much for that.
I'll look at OpenOfficeBase. I'm looking for something that can distribute to Mac or Windows.
